I hate junk mail and unsolicited ads, and I certainly wouldn’t subject anyone to more of it, so Silkway Group does not use any contact information you disclose to it for any purpose except the one you intended, and we do not furnish any contact information to anyone else for any purpose whatsoever.
For example, if you subscribe to the Silkway Group Forms we do not use your email address for any purpose other than to maintain your Forum subscription.
If you send us a private message (ie, not a Forum posting), I do reserve the right to post edited excerpts from your messages (without disclosing your full name, location or contact info) on the Silkway group website to help other travelers and to demonstrate the types of services provided by TTP, but if wethought you really cared about this we’d check with you in advance (as we often do).
If you don’t mind to use your real name or city of residence on TTP, please say so in your message to me. If you don’t say so, we won’t reveal this information without first obtaining your permission.
If you really don’t want a single word of anything you say or write to us to be posted, just let us know and that’s what’ll happen.
If you give me financial information (such as credit card info—for example, to pay for an tour, package or one of our services, we use that information one time only, for the purpose you intended, and then we delete it. We do not retain any financial information. If you contact us again and want to make another purchase, you’ll need to give us the info again, and we will delete it again after one use.
As do most websites, we use automated programs such as Google Analytics that collect and evaluate data including IP (Internet protocol) addresses, ISP (internet service provider), browser type, referring and exit pages, time of visit, and the number of clicks. This information tracks user movements within the site to show which pages are being visited and for how long, but IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information, and the information collected is only for statistical purposes.
